Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS) — also called red meat immune reaction or tick bite food sensitivity — is triggered by a lone star tick or chigger bite. SAAT is used to help manage symptoms of Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS) — a tick-borne food sensitivity triggered by lone star tick or chigger bites that causes immune reactions to red meat, pork, dairy, and other mammalian products.
